The sport of Olympic Weightlifting, also called just "Weightlifting" or "Olympic Lifting", consists of 2 lifts: the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk. In a competition, each lifter has 3 attempts in the Snatch and 3 in the Clean & Jerk. The weight of the heaviest successful lift of each is added together to create a total, and the best total wins.
Olympic Weightlifting training consists of Snatches, Cleans, Jerks and their variations + squatting and pulling + other accessories movements with the goal to increase Snatch and Clean & Jerk numbers. Competing is never required but always supported!

We welcome people of all experience levels because we believe everyone can benefit from strength training and our electric environment.
For individuals with no previous experience with Olympic Weightlifting or Powerlifting movements, we'll meet with you for 1 to 2 technique sessions first to introduce you to the movements and teach you the vocab. Once completed, you free to join the gym where you'll be supplied with our beginner's program and our famous coaching.
If you have some lifting experience but are looking for more of a technique refresher, hit us up about our private technique sessions!
To get started, use the "Contact Us" button to submit an inquiry form and someone from our team will reach out to you!
We're so glad you're interested in joining us!
Maybe you have experience in Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, or have a CrossFit background? Are you just a tad rusty or want to specialize in strength sports a bit more?
If you have at least 3 months consistent lifting experience, you're welcome to sign-up for a Free Trial to come in during our Coaching Hours to come lift at the gym.
To get the most out of the Free Trial and have the best possible experience, a basic understanding of the lifts, terminology, and how to perform them safely is required before joining us in Coaching Hours. Don't feel you're quite there yet? No problem! Just reach out to us about getting set up with a Technique Intro or private technique refresher session.
If you're not sure where to start, use the "Contact Us" button to schedule a time to come in a chat with a coach first!
Think of them almost like office hours for your lifting. While we do call them "classes", and it's still a group training environment, they are not like traditional group fitness classes where a coach leads everyone through the workout together. Rather, you'll be in charge of your own warm-up and you'll work through the programming at your own pace while a coach is there to provide coaching and feedback.
Check our schedule to see our Coaching Hours times!
